Threat Level Orange
So… I was checking the pockets of my travel bags, getting ready to head to Boston tomorrow, and I found my Gerber folding knife. It is a three-inch sharp blade, and it was definitely in my carry-on luggage (by accident). This means it was definitely screened. Twice. During one of the biggest travel days of the year.
Happy travels.

The One, True L.T.
Note: there has only ever been one L.T. in the N.F.L., and it never played for the Chargers. The great back who plays in San Diego is L-D- T. Period. Quit calling him L.T. Please.
Things I've Done Today
Finished Laundry
Written Leaves
Gone to the Airport
Finished Grading Tests
Had Breakfast
Half a Crossword
Showered
And it is only 7:30am. Awesome!
The sad part is the rest of the day’s todo list is SO much longer…

More productivity
I was ridiculously productive today! I went from having a completely packed weekend full of grading and planning, and not much time to do it, to having everything through the end of next week (which pretty much means the all the way until after Thanksgiving) sorted, and I am caught completely up on grading!
All that it took was a little elbow grease, a little efficiency, and a little creativity...

Still relevant.
Is November 4th really the day?
it is WAY too early for Christmas music, in my opinion, and yet here I am with a Josh Groban Christmas medly invading my ears.

Fall Back
When I went to bed last night, I intentionally did not set an alarm. It is Sunday and I wanted the sleep. I woke up, looked at my phone and saw that it was just a little after 8. So, I lounged around in bed for a bit, got up, took a leisurely shower, and headed out. When I got in my car, it was after 11! I was a little distressed at just how lazy I had been.
I got to Stone Cup, ordered my AM...

Produce
(originally intended for posting on 11/3)
I often have ideas that I think are good. Usually I will ponder their merits further before acting. Many times, unrecorded ideas are lost and the rest just have to wait their turn.
But, over the past sixteen hours I have done twice what is a somewhat rare occasion for me: I have acted immediately and thoroughly on an idea that I have had, and produced...

MacBook
Me: C, they came out with new MacBooks today. I called them and they said I could exchange mine for the new one, but they would charge me a restocking fee. What should I do?
C: Well, you only live once, so I think you should take that restocking fee and get some diamonds and put 'em on your new computer, then, get some neon lights to put on the bottom of that piece.
Me: Huh. Good plan.
