This morning...
I walked outside and the earth was damp with a recent rain. It wasn’t foggy, but the clouds hung low and I couldn’t see the mountains that make up the valley carved by the river that runs just outside my apartment. Silence filled that unknown space, and I got the feeling that today wasn’t going to be an ordinary day.
