Royals Watch: Update #3
The Royals currently stand at .500 after going 4-6 over their last ten games. There are three reasons why we’re not worried just yet, and one nagging doubt. The AL Central is pathetic. Seriously. They still have a positive run differential, which is pretty decent indicator of performance (granted, +5 over ten games isn’t as impressive as, say, the +40 of the AL East leading New...

Rondoriffic
Rajon Rondo makes the Boston Celtics work. Sure, Paul Pierce made the big clutch shots at the end of regulation last night and again at the end of overtime, but Rondo is the reason they were even in the game. Rondo takes pressure off of Pierce during the game so that he can do what he does at the end of the game. In the five post-season games this year, Rajon Rondo is averaging a triple-double...

Sunday: a beautiful day in the City of Angels. Biked to breakfast and lazed about. Wondrous. Also, met my first Doctor, which was overdue.

Friday: pretty productive. Handled my finances, did grades, read a book (cover-to-cover), flew to LA. You know, typical Friday.

Wednesday: lack of chocolate chip cookies is not amusing. Advisee in the hospital. Lost was lame. In spite of it all, a good day.

Tuesday: a not-so flurious Tuesday. Played some ultimate (actually, its bastard-cousin “goaltimate”). By the way, my NBA champ pick: Cavs.

Monday: hit the ground running. Got my new KOR bottle, which I dig. NBA playoffs— Rondo/Rose, Allen/Gordan— where amazing happens.

Royals Watch: Update #2
I’m writing this prior to the Royals playing their 11th game of the season. In spite of going 3-4 since the last update, the Royals find themselves above .500 and in first place in the AL Central. There are still a ton of games left, obviously, but things are going pretty well. I also have a gentleman’s wager on the Royals finishing above .500 on the year.

Buy some bailout debt (diversify your bonds), but only after some research (treasurydirect) Instead of aggressively attacking your credit card debt, throw the money under the (proverbial) mattress instead. Royals Watch: Update #1
The Royals are off the pace of their torrid 3-0 start from last season, but they did still manage to win their first game of the year in a 2-0, three-hit, shutout. Their total run differential for the season is zero (at this point last season it was plus-five).
