Thanks to a savvy rescheduling of our normal Thursday morning meeting, and the fact that I don’t teach the first period of the day, I promised myself that I would sleep in and wake up naturally and then immediately get up and get going. I definitely didn’t consider, however, what would happen if my cats woke me up. Is that a “natural” awakening?

I don’t know, but when they did I seriously debated going to sleep. So much so, that I ended up not being able to go back to sleep…
