because as I was standing in line to go through security screening at the airport, I overheard a TSA employee explain to a man that he couldn’t carry a snow globe onto the plane because of the liquid in it. And then, my next immediate thought was “yeah, what a dumbass.” 

I mean, it is kind of messed up that the guy couldn’t take a snow globe onto the plane. It is also kind of messed up that someone would put something potentially harmful into a snow globe. And lastly, it is kind of messed up that it is now a perfectly logical thought path to think that someone would put something harmful in a snow globe, and then create a rule to prevent that. 

Sad.
