Jack Black. Mos Def. That was pretty much enough to get me to the theatrem and the hilarity of those two remaking old movies was enough to get me absolutely giddy about it. Nor was I disapointed.
What I wasn’t expecting however, was a deft commentary on building community, fostering creativity wherever, and the utter stupidity of laws that claim to protect artists but actually pad studio’s wallets.
If you care about movies or communities, then go see this movie (that is, if you wouldn’t have seen it because of either Mos Def or Jack Black).
