I felt a lot like this a couple of weeks ago when I wanted some questions answered about The Dresden Dolls. One thing led to another, and eventually I was learning about “proportional response” and how we were big fat meanie heads at the end of WWII.
Then, the other day I am watching The Big Lebowski, and learning that the Seattle Seven was a real thing and that one of the seven was a good friend of the Coen Brothers and off whom they based “The Dude.” The guy’s name is Jeff Dowd, and he was the executive producer of Ferngully. I also read about the Port Huron Statement, which is an incredibly interesting document, though, I couldn’t find a copy that wasn’t the compromised second-draft.
I didn’t want to ruin the fun, so I opted to not look up Speed of Sound tour.
