They claim you never know what you got ‘til it’s gone \ I know I got it, I don’t know what y’all on
About 7 weeks ago, I lost my glasses on a beach in Maine. This was actually quite a shame because for the first time in a long time, I had glasses that I really liked. After just dealing with it for a couple of weeks, I decided I would do something about it. I hopped on 39dollarglasses.com and ordered them up.
That day, or the day after, (July 18th) they sent me an email saying to expect my glasses in three to five days. Several weeks later they still hadn’t arrived, so I sent an email to the company. In it, I explained the situation and asked to either cancel my order, or have my glasses shipped to a new destination if they were going to be shipped soon. A prompt reply (August 6th) suggested that I would have my glasses in 2-3 days.
A week later, I sent another email demanding that my order be cancelled. That same day or a day later, (August 13th) I received the same automated email I got when I first placed my order (expect your glasses in 3-5 days). And after not having had a person respond to me within a couple of days, I soon sent another email reiterating my demand.
As of today, I still haven’t heard from them. However, the glasses were in my box yesterday afternoon…
It is really quite amazing what I haven’t been able to see for the last seven weeks.
