J.A. Adande makes a case that the best basketball in March will be professional and not amateur. I’ve actually come to appreciate pro-basketball a lot more recently (if you like basketball, you almost have to like the NBA- the players are SO FREAKING GOOD), and I somewhat agree with him. That said, the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament is the greatest yearly sporting event in the history of mankind, and I will be watching.
Slap This:
Last year at the dunk contest, Dwight Howard was robbed of a victory because his dunk was too good. Check it out:
and as good as his dunks were this year, I don’t know that you can actually win the dunk contest without actually dunking the ball (the superman dunk)

Gerald Green’s cupcake dunk was pretty good. Still, The Sticker Dunk is probably the best dunk I’ve ever seen
I’m definitely alive and well. Currently, I am at 52nd and Broadway in New York with nine high school students. Last night at the Knicks game, I may have actually decided to become a Knicks fan. Ronald Balkman is a spectacular defender, and watching David Lee level Bruce Bowen was a huge highlight for me. Throw in some Jamal Crawford, who I met, and that is an intresting team ( who, incidentally were very close to outright whipping the Spurs). Justin Tuck getting a standing O was a nice human moment.
I love this guy
