More than a simple review

yesterday, as you may or may not know, was the day that Ben and Jerry’s (they make ice cream) free cone day(!!!), except that in one case, the manager was a big,  fat meanie pants, and ended it early (sort of defeats the point, doesn’t it?).

Not to be outdone, but Baskin Robbins (remember them?) is offereing a 31-cent scoop night from 5pm-10pm.

Get you some!

• Apparently, this wasp (not WASP) is a little confused.
• Yay Pictures!
• It isn’t all sunshine and orchids, though. Rice and flour are becoming harder to find and, apparently, you shouldn’t complain too much or you might get arrested.

• My afternoon coffee is actually not dehyrdating.
• “Tragically Uncrunk” and five other shenanigans pass off as art.
• A microcosm of the American economy in the story of a clothing manufacturer (I am assuming the author meant “United States’”).

Also, it seems a little weird that I can use a website from my phone using text messages to do my shopping, potentially while I am standing in a store looking at what I am going to buy. And by “weird,” I probably mean “awesome”

• A collection of comic strips about working at the Olive Garden (funny)
• The planned collapse of America (scary, in theory)
• 5 terrifying insects (scary, in practice)
• I can’t wait until I buy these albums this week: Hope Waits (she does a sultry cover of Tom Waits’ Get Behind the Mule) & Yael Naim (she sings the “Mac Book Air“ song, aka New Soul)
